Implicit FaithI closed my eyes for a moment and felt as my spirit grew within me. I could swear that the heaven-sent thing was not really contained in this earthen vessel, but rather that it hovered somewhere near to my heartstrings as it held my life somewhere in balance between God's Will and the law of physics. I breathed, and it settled once again to the relative peace I had so enjoyed since I became alive. I smiled to myself in my pride that I had coined a new term for the sacred victory that a carpenter had won so many years ago, but that smile soon turned to a grimace as I experienced a concentration of sin form in my hand.

BabelThe title of this post has a dual meaning. When pronounced, the word sounds like babble, which is exactly what I'm doing. Or maybe I was taught the incorrect pronunciation. Who knows?   
I've been in a bit of a funk lately. I haven't been as focused nor have I been concentrating on the things I should be. My life as far as outside influences go is perfect. I'm not content with who I am, I want to learn more, be stronger, better, deeper, wiser, more loving. I can't do that all on my own, but I'm so unfaithful in prayer and bible study. (I nearly wrote faithless-perhaps that would have been a more appropriate word.) I serve an amazing Babel

No, I haven't died, and I haven't stopped writing either. However, a large portion of what I have written in the last year or so has been incredibly spiritual and personal to me, and until now I've kept it hidden away in Microsoft Word for fear that it would offend someone or that others just wouldn't understand.

No more. I've been led by His spirit to start posting things again, and I was encouraged by RayFalling's recent journal entry that he was going to be baptized. I realized that these are the innermost parts of who I am, and they are the truth of who I am, and as such, they don't need to be hidden away. Not all of them are wonderful, some of them are just thoughts, but...they're me.

So. I'm sorry for hiding away and not posting anything for such a long time, to any of you who might have watched me a long time ago. I'm stepping out in my faith into boldness, and this is just one of the first few steps~

I love all of you, even though I've never met you. May you be blessed the day you read this, and for all of the days that are to come :)
